Does anyone else have paint blemishes?

Just noticed today. Looks like the clear coat is starting to separate on my hood.

I had the same spots so I went to get it detailed and then this showed up. There is 8 different spots on my hood.

That's distgusting, even for a 5 year old hood--let alone a new one

Blemishes I overlook, wax out, but that damage to an INFERIOR clear coat would get DEALER TIME immediately-

Yes, Finding similar issues on my new Mojito. Very disappointed. Going to take it by the dealer and see what they suggest.

Paint defects happen. It was a long time ago but GM has a huge paint issue on a lot of brand new cars. Personally I'd leave any very small pin point imperfections alone. I feel repainting them would be more harm then good. Peeling or lifting clear coat has to be repaired. Not all body shops are equal. Do some home work on the shops before the do work on it.

I noticed while detailing that I have several little paint blemishes, the only way I can explain it is it looks like the surface wasn't completely clean before the paint was applied.

There's one little pimple on the passenger side windshield pillar, and on the passenger door. Then like dirt under the paint right inside the passenger side door. Then blemishes near the door hinges.

Yes I have a mojito with the same blemishes on multiple pillars and other clear coat issues. Waiting for my dealer to hear back from Jeep with next steps. Good luck

I have a few specs on my roll bars on my 24 hr old JLUS. Nothing on the body though. I checked out about 10 other JKUs and they all had specs on the roll bars regardless if it was a Sport, Sahara, or Rubi. Dealer chalked it up to them being more focused on the body and not the roll cage which was historically covered by the padding on the roll cages on the JKUs.

Has anyone had any luck from dealer or FCA regarding paint issues? I got an estimate over $2000 to make needed repairs. Of course I’m not in favor of breaking paint on my brand new JL.

Reminds me of my old Silverado. Had what appeared to be small rust spots in front. They claimed it was break dust from the trains they ship the vehicles in. Little specs of metal

so far the only blemishes Ive been able to see are for my hard top (I can see white underneath the black paint) for one spot. Idk if a rock hit it or what but the black paint has chipped. Doesn't bother me much at all... but i haven't investigated the entire jeep to see many blemishes. I'm sure I'll notice when I hand wash it... plan to do that in a couple of weeks.

I had my wife's new Jeep Ceramic Coated this week, the ceramic guy said the paint was great and didn't see any blems/defects in it. Maybe being a white Jeep helps??
