I have 7,000km on my Rubicon, I bought the Tazer for a few reasons but turning the start/stop off was one of the main ones..BUT I am totally ok with it, I have a manual transmission so as previously mentioned it will only stop the engine if you remove your foot from the clutch, even light pressure, which does not engage the clutch is enough to avoid the start/stop activating...
I find myself purposely removing my foot from the clutch to ensure the engine stops when I see I will be stationary for any more than a few seconds...the restart is almost instant as soon as you push the clutch so no need to "prepare" to move off,I find on my normal 40 min commute the start stop will engage around 10 times and will then not always stop even when you have your feet off the clutch as I assume the battery hits a threshold after a certain amount of restarts in a set period. the only slight downside is that on two occasions I have been caught out as I just move away from a light with the engine running and at that very moment the engine stops because the start stop thinks I am stationary...not sure how much gas it saves but why pollute when you don't have to.;-)
