ah, makes sence, If I had mine set lower it wouldn't ever calm down, but I also like it warmer than a lot of people, so i've got no issues with mine. Honestly I'd probably use the A/C a lot less if I had a soft top personally since it would be down all the time, weather permitting.I think you might be right once the cabin temperature cools down. I run a soft top so its like having a plastic bag over your head on hot days. I will be switching back to hard top in a few weeks and I will see if its any better. With respect to the temperature of 20 degrees. its not a programming thing but a recovery temperature most automobile AC units can't over come to easily. Now I must say the JEEPs AC is quite good so the variance might be a bit wider. I don't have any technical resource that says Jeeps is 20 degrees just from cumulative experience of working on AC units over the past several years.
