I live in Phoenix, and ESS will shut the engine off at the first light after having the vehicle sit in the sun all day and the temp set to LOW. I don't think it's heat sensitive in my experience. It really frustrates me when it's 110 out and the cabin is dreadfully hot and the air gets warm...

How many windshields per gallon riding behind those semis? :)

Agreed on AZ doing lots of damage to batteries. Having to replace 2 is going to suck! I agree that we should have a setting to disable permanently without disconnecting a cable. That's ridiculous.

Mine shuts off in the Phoenix heat. Super annoying. I keep my AC blasting and set on "Low".

Cool idea for a thread. I sold some rubicon rock rails a while back. I'll be in the market for wheels and tires (37") in the near future. Also looking for a lift and likely a black painted or black unpainted hard top at some point when I get my money ready

I'm also a former Minnesotan. I live in Chandler. Been here for 10 years now. This time of year I hate AZ, but the rest of the year is pretty great.

F&c>ing heat... it's so hot! I have a soft top and the AC barely does the job after the Jeep sits in the sun all day. I feel like the drivers side vents don't really directly hit me well enough. There's certainly air coming out, but I've felt cooler quicker in other cars. Do you all share...

Love the wheels! I have a black JLUR with the soft top. When I can save enough, I might go a similar route. What are the wheels/tires? Also, is yours a rubicon? Do you have a lift?
