I thought I would share my recent ongoing issue with my local dealer. In Early FEB I sold my previous JL and cancelled my extended warranty. This allowed me to get a refund of 3k dollars. On March 8 I called the dealer asking if my refund had showed up. They told me it could take 8-9 weeks for them to receive the refund. So Friday I decided to call the company who the extended warranty was purchased through and ask for an explanation why the refund process is so long. They informed me the refund was issued to the dealership on March 4. I go visit the dealership that day but say nothing about talking to the insurance company before i hear what they have to say. Again I get the 8-9 week excuse and that's when i tell them i had already spoke with the insurance company and knew what date they issued the refund to them. He starts trying to make more excuses and now it's clear to me this guy has no idea what's going on and he is the finance manager. So i'm suppose the hear from him next week. We'll see what he says. So, why be so dishonest about something that their customer can verify so Easly? I highly doubt I will ever use this dealer again because I don't feel their trustworthy.
