Disappearing Drain Plugs

My rubber mats would drop into the drain hole in the floor but there was no way for them to seal. So I cut it off to prevent it from pushing out the floor plug. I put another plug in the mat itself to keep dirt and debris from going through the mat hole and getting on the carpet.

That’s what I’m talking about BDinTX what kind of plugs did you get for the rubber Mopar factory mats to keep the dirt and water from getting into the carpet?

Not sure how often people need to clean sleet off their floor mats, but the random water drippage @ 1:28 was pretty funny. ?

Well I’ll admit, long time JLU owner and never paid attention to this. I just pulled the rubber mats out to clean and put them back. Learn something new almost every time I visit this forum.
