My stock JLU has the death wobbles at 60-75 and it is stock. Its been in the shop for a month as Jeep engineers and the dealer are trying to get to the bottom of it. I've now personally met 6 people with death wobble issue , 2 of which Jeep replaced their vehicles the rest have been in the black hole of pain that I'm in trying to get a resolution. They've had stabilizers replaced and tires balanced and the trac bar tightened or swapped and the issue seems to come back. I think this is a much wider spread issue and jeep is just hoping people will upgrade their way out of the problem.

got tire balanced. all were perfect. and took it to the dealer and they are going to replace a steering stabilizer for me. also am installing adjustable lower control arms
Strange. Well a steering stabilizer wouldn't cause your problem, only mask it. Is the lift you have on now the Mopar lift? I ask because that lift comes with new front lower control arms which adjust the castor angle already.

I experienced the wobble maybe 5 times at 40-50 in my Rubicon in it's factory configuration. No mods. Replaced the steering stabilizer with a basic Rancho model because I crushed the stock one. Still wobbled.
Then bought and installed the Metalcloak 3.5 Gamechanger w/6paks. Includes adjustable upper and lower control arms front and back as well as adjustable track bars. Had my local shop double check control arms from Metalcloak's suggested lengths and it read perfect. They tightened the jam nuts and realigned the front end. Since then, has not wobbled once at any speed. Stock tires and then 35" KO2's with load range C running 36psi. Still the same simple Rancho steering stabilizer.
What that suggests the problem was,,I will leave to each individual looking for a fix. The wobble definitely was there and then disappeared after the lift kit tho. Off road, on road, ride feels better than stock.

Great post, great replies. DW can be traced to something being amiss. Is your toe correct? That’s an easy fix. Caster? You’ll need to mod your Jeep in order to adjust caster. What I want you to know, above all else, is that DW can be solved. Dealerships can’t fix it. It can happen on any Jeep. You’ll solve it don’t worry! And once you do it’s smooth sailing.
