Giving and taking shit is a sign of camaraderie in my world. If you say something dumb, admit it, and laugh along with everyone else. They’re going to laugh anyway. How you respond is up to you. There is no such thing as a one sided argument. Unless you’re that crazy guy walking down the street yelling at the imaginary people the rest of us can’t see or hear.

Yep. Just like high school autoshop, you gotta be able to roll with the punches. Just remembered the old joke of tossing a fully zapped up old points distributor condenser to someone as you call their name....natural reaction is to catch it LOLOLOLOLLOL I could go on as we had many more in shop and at the old gas station where I worked...was good times for sure!

I'm an engineer of sorts...master of disastah, ayatollah of rock n rollah...etc....and there's tons of great advice in this thread that's being ignored...because who knows why....time to get another sip of coffee...y'all have a great day! :)

I just read this whole post. brconflict was nothing but respectful even if he was disagreeing with many of you. The insults only came from one direction. That isnt how you convince others of your "rightness". You guys should reconsider if you think this is proper way to discuss anything that has weight.

I new to this forum so Jeeps maybe different. But, I had a 2005 Dodge Dakota with four wheel drive. It had a "death wobble" real bad. Usually after driving it ten to twelve miles or so. Took it into the dealer and he asked me if I was riding my brakes. I said no. He said the brakes were worn. It happened again, many times. The last time was in front of his dealership. The right front tire was locked up. What had happened was the brake pads did not retract. So they kept riding on the rotor. Eventually it locked up the wheel so it couldn't turn. The" death wobble" was caused by having one wheel locked and the momentum of the truck was forcing it to turn. I think we finally had to go to aftermarket brakes to get it to stop. Just my two cents.
