So I just bought a 2024 2 door Willys and day 2 with the car and I'm driving at night and realize the backlight for the speedometer and the rpm is aren't working, only the orange arrows light up. I've tried all settings and the dial/sensor and nothing.

I've read other threads where the whole dash is dim but never just those 2 parts, anyone see something like this before?

I'm guessing / hoping it's a fuse. If not then take it to your dealership.
Wouldn't a fuse affect all the lights? Like the needles on the speedometer and odometer light up but not the numbers.

Anyways I'm gonna play around in the fuse box and take it to a dealership if anything. 300km in and already problems not feeling optimistic -_-

New recall might cover that. Don't touch it. Take it to the dealership.

Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 30B.

Maybe it's upset at being called a car?

j/k, hope it's something simple, please follow up with the fix when found.
Spoke to a tech at the dealership and they don't think it's a fuse. I have an IGLA antitheft that came with the car and I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with how they installed it.

Either way I have an appointment next week.

Will report back with news then

I ran my vin on Mopar and my car doesn't seem to have any active recalls. I'm also in Canada so not sure if the 30b is making its way up here.

It's possible it's not posted yet. They haven't even sent letters yet. Might make sense to wait before spending money on it.

Dealer said I'd be covered by warranty I've only had the car since Saturday....

It's not a car. It's Jeep. Go out and talk to it, call it a Jeep. A lot. Apologize for referring to it as a car. Maybe while doing some semi-serious off-roading, followed by a nice bath. Can't hurt.

UPDATE: went to the dealership today and after some diagnostics they said it needs a new IP cluster. So probably affected just like the 30B recall but I'm in Canada so no word on that yet, either way it's warrantied so all good. They said 2-4 weeks for the part to come in.
