Hello everyone,
I have an issue with all the lights with the exception of the headlights.

Basically turn signals remain always on while dlrs remain always off.

Back up light remains on even when the car is turned off.

Does anybody have an idea why this is happening?

2018 JLR Canadian Version.

Thank you in advance.

As i start the engine turn signals switch on and I cannot turn them off. (They don’t blink the light is fixed).
The back up light is even worse it has been on for two consecutive days and I can’t turn it off...

I added a video on YouTube of the crazy lights.
Just to clarify, in the video the car is in P not R and the back up light is on.

The reverse/back-up light looks strange... it looks like the passenger-side is on, but the driver-side isn't. Regardless of why it's happening, I'd recommend taking your vehicle from where you purchased it. It shouldn't be difficult for them to fix.

Yes it’s going to the shop tomorrow but I was looking for a quick fix to go wheeling today ;)

That’s nuts. Some wiring mishap possibly.

Buona fortuna… please post the problem & resolution. I don't think the fix would be very easy, unless you're proficient with electrical work.

I just picked up the car from the dealership.
Basically the guy who converted my tow hitch from USA/CA to EU specs did not insulate the electronics and water caused it to short circuit.

I'm glad you have it sorted... it could have been worse.
