2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon. While driving random warning lights come on the dashboard. The lights are gone after a ON/OFF cycle with the engine. However, the check engine light remains on until three ON/OFF cycle with the engine. Also, several times the ABS, BRAKE and other warning lights are lit when the engine is first started. This will cause the Jeep not to go into gear. After an hour of waiting, the Jeep will start and go into gear, and no warning lights except the check engine light. Again, the check engine light will clear after three ON/OFF cycles with the engine. Any suggestions on the cause? This issue has been occurring for months.

Check your fuse box, go one by one and make sure the fuses are pushed all the way in.

Are you using Amsoil?

Seriously though, a quick search for the words dashboard lights would have come up with this exact scenario in many, many times.

also, if you had the aux battery make sure you change them both at the same time.

If you're on the original batteries, they're a few exit ramps past their reliable shelf life. It's been mentioned here that a bad battery will throw many different errors with the stock setup. The bad one will take the good one along for the downhill ride.

You should start with replacing both at minimum (or just the larger one) and bypass the little auxiliary battery (as many, many will recommend).

There is also this...

The newer electronics, especially the batteries and CAN Bus systems, are possessed. For the most part my Jeep works fine. If it sits and the batteries get low, I might get a Can Bus communication error on a cold start. If I turn off the engine while the Jeep is still in gear, I get a warning on the dash, which is to be expected, but also a check engine light with no error code for a few drive cycles. Both JSCAN and Banks Data Monster show the check engine light as being off.

The original Auxiliary and Main battery was changed three ago.
Replaced both batteries again.
The Jeep seems to be OK for now.

After 2 months the issue has returned. Random warning lights and the check engine light come on the dashboard when driving. So it is not a battery issue.
