Yeah I’ve seen things like this before in nyc. It’s a win for the dash cam. This video should almost force people to use one

I will now install my dashcam. The one that's been sitting in the glovebox for a while!

We have one in each vehicle. Saved me in my Jeep when someone turned in front of me. I sent the clip to the insurance company and they found her at fault, especially once her adjuster saw the video. Mine records in a loop and when it detects a shock, it locks the video and sends it to a file. I would drive without one now a days!

insurance fraud is the largest employer in Glendale, CA. when i went back east for insurance training they were all very familiar with the city, just by reputation.

When I was a teen, I got into a wreck at a red light. I was turning left, had right of way, and a guy plowed through the intersection, spun me 270º, and hit another car (friends of his). When he got out of the car he asked if I was OK and then immediately started shouting at me, "Why'd you run the light?!" At first his friends in the other car were saying he ran the light, but by the time the cops showed up said I ran it. The cop wrote the report like I ran the light, even quoted me saying it was all my fault. IDK if he just assumed the teenage driver was at fault or what. I didn't even speak to him until he handed me the ticket. When I read it and asked about it, he told me if I didn't sign receipt of the report/ticket, he could take me to jail. Scared kid as I was, I signed. Both other parties involved in the accident then sued me for six figures each. Insurance settled, but my premiums skyrocketed because of that.
