My record was 50 miles after replacement. Our '22 Rubicon has had FOUR replacements. We carry glass coverage and have for decades. We've had 5 Jeeps over the last 20 years. We rarely get 12 months on a windshield. Our "record" was four in one year including two within less than a month.
And I was pissed about getting a big ass rock smack at under 2,000 miles with my new 24 JLUR. At only 50 miles I'd have been REALLY pissed. My record was 50 miles after replacement.
I'm thinking that's directly correlated with who is paying for it. Insurance = GG. Self = nope.So I take it most everyone doesn't replace them back with Gorilla glass??
I did not want to put a new windshield in the Jeep before I went to Alaska as it often reported that may get broken windshields in Alaska and it added three cracks to mine in Alaska.Badge of honor brother, badge of honor.
