@Roky what is the secret to get your 19.5” compressed length rears to that much bump height? I have billsteins with the same length right now and this is them at full stuff. I had to add 2” of bump stop to not bottom out. These are 38” Nittos. I still have 2” of clearance all around and I didn’t even have to trim the seam cause of the bump.

What’s your setup ? And how are you flexing it ?

In the rear is a 3.5” metal cloak spring with billstein 5100s with the following specs:

Collapsed length: 19.49 inches
Extended length: 31.68 inches

To flex I removed the springs and went to full bump on one side. I added two inches of bump via metal cloak blocks (removed the 1” stock XR bump).

I had to add 2” to prevent bottoming out the shock. Had about 0.25 of shaft left

Axle is centered with an adjustable core 4x4 track bar, metal cloak sway bar links with their spacer block to prevent hitting frame.

What about control arms, adjustable or stock?

What I’m most curious about is did you move shock brackets at all? Or are you thinking I may see a different story when I’m flexed on the trail?
Yes I’m running a Rock Krawler long arm kit, with a 3 link in the rear….. The rear shock bracket gets raised 3 ish inches, and the upper bracket also gets raised, so it still the same distance apart but raised up 3-3.5”…. The 3 link rear, really frees up the rear axle, and the long arms let the axle stuff and droop straighter, doesn’t get pulled/pushed fore and aft……

Flexed out the new shock brackets and, I could swear I heard the shocks say “thank you” … ?
If I’m honest, can’t feel any difference but doesn’t mean there isn’t one….but the way they look flexed makes me feel like there’s a difference…….Also, I was wondering how my brake line brackets were going to work out, but they actually are in a better orientation, win, win…:like:

Even before your long arm swap I thought you were getting more stuff then pic above running long travel shocks?

Do you happen to have a picture of your wheel stuffed when you were pre - bracket?

either way that answers my question though. With those specs you’d have to move the bottom and top mount upwards in order to stuff more than my picture, I believe (stuff as in tire in we’ll not bump to jounce). Thank you very much for sharing the info and setup. I think to stuff more and get as much droop as I currently have, I’d need to do the MC brackets and get the 6 pack shock. I’m not seeing any ~31.5” length extended shock that’s under ~19” compressed and I’d like ~17 compressed
