Staying your distance helps the Windshield as well as front end stone chips. Now in some areas like Colorado and Utah, it seems like all bets are off. Been there, Done That.

It amazes me all the technology that people have in their recent new car purchases that they don’t use or don’t know how to set up. I see it and deal with it everyday.

The only solution that I know is, there isn’t any. Following other vehicles at a further distance, will help to eliminate somewhat.
I've been using resin on the one crack on my window for the last 2 months, and it just seems to keep getting worse slowly but surely. I'm just hoping to have pass safety inspection in November, at that point I'll have a whole year before I need to actually replace my window assuming it gets way way worse.

I forget who, but there is a sponsor on here who's selling a product quite similar to your protective glass on your cell phones. But for the Wrangler. Whenever I do get a new windshield, I'll most definitely be purchasing that stuff!!
