I've had my Jeep TJ for about 15 years now. Love it (still have it - keeping it), but I just recently picked up a new 2023 JLU 2.0T Willys XR. So I was wondering today... the JLU seems bigger inside (definitely seems bigger outside), but how much bigger is it really inside?
Got out the tape measure and measured inside the side-to-side distance between the doors measuring from below the windows. Figured that was the narrowest distance on each Jeep where you would notice it sitting inside.
The TJ: 52". The JLU... 54". So not that much wider inside.
I found it interesting anyways.
