It was all for the stupid start stop which should be added to the JL problems. I disabled mine with the tazerjl, but before I did, it would malfunction after 6 or 7 times. Heard this was as issue with many. The visor is definitely at the top of the list. I've had 4 replaced before i did a fix somebody put in the forum. Now there are little brackets you can buy that "fixes" it.

Coolant leaks aren’t only 2.0’s and battery dying goes past the 2018’s.

My batteries gave up the ghost and had them replaced this morning. Made it 2 years and 9 months.

Let’s add the drip rails pouring rain water into the Jeep when the doors open. (Drip rails too short)
Yes the drip trail thing. Only today, I got water dripping in from there when my door was closed. Gotta figure that out now.

I don't recall any other generation of Jeep having weak windshield problems like the JL has. Perhaps the JK did (I completely ignored that era), but the current windshield is by far the most slanted back in history, so these new ones should be amazing if the angle was any factor.
Additionally, I've smacked unthinkable things off the YJ windshield without a scratch but I think a bug chipped my JL windshield last week.

Interesting cause my 2019 had the battery replaced year 1.
Like I said it was fixed, that's why yours got replaced.

Some people today talk like they want a perfect world, and nothing or no one is allowed any mistakes. A lady at work bought a new Hyundai hybrid and it's been in the shop 3 times in less than a year. Toyota Rav 4's are blowing up and a few people have been killed. And I can go on and on.

We all know better. Believe me I am one to look at things that could be better, could have maybe put more thought into etc.

But when I look at the wrangler and it's intended design, how much jeep put into it and how much better it is than previous jeeps, even if it breaks I still feel it is one hell of a vehicle with unmatched off road abilities.

FCA, now stellantis ( probably not spelled right) has done a really nice job with all their vehicles in recent years. Read reviews the new wagoneer. I currently am in a 2021 Tahoe loaner (jeeps getting a free tune) upper trim level and it's nice. I own a 2020 ram 1500 big horn crew cab 4x4 with level 2 equipment group. The ram rides better, handles better, smoother. The stop start in the Chevy is horrible. The etorque stop start system in the ram is seamless to the point sometimes you don't even notice it and it is much quicker to start. The infotainment in the Chevy is butt ugly, sticks out like a sore thumb it's just terrible. Almost like it was and after thought. The 12 inch infotainment system in the ram is beautiful, well thought out and just so much nicer.

Just one example. One person posted his biggest JL problem was the smile on his face, well put brother.

These issues seem to be common on JL's. Any others to watch for?

1. Paint bubbling
2. Fragile Windshields
3. Mysterious slow loss of coolant - 2.0LT
4. Fragile Sunvisors
5. Loose fuses from factory
6. Overinflated tires from factory
7. Premature primary/secondary battery failure
I've only experienced an issue with #2 and #6. As far as batteries, I replaced mine with 2 full sized batteries and the Genesis offorad dual battery kit. One other issue for me is my stereo mysteriously reboots itself at least once a month at any given time. LOL

My personal common JL problem is people making me worry about developing a problem with my JL by writing lists of common JL problems.
Perhaps you should avoid threads like this….worry wart. ?

I drive a 2020 Ford Explorer for work. The windshields in those break easy too. It appears they are thin. Probably manufacturers chasing chasing weight savings and production cost savings.

Common JL problem:
Being happy with your Jeep, and then parking next to someone else’s Jeep with a taller lift and bigger tires, and thinking, “Wow! Nice! What if…?” ?
Then The wife turns and says, “No, don’t even think about it!”
Harsh reality.
