Hey everybody, glad to be back. I was very active here in '21 & '22 but kinda dropped off a lot after '23.

I've read a bunch of threads since being back, but wondering if one of you daily visitors could throw me a bone on the current common issues facing owners of 25's?

I just ordered, under the wire, a '25 JLUSS 2.0L, my 3rd Wrangler so far.

When I was last really following things, these seemed to be the most common things to watch for:

- Frequent coolant topoffs when brand new
- Bubbling paint
- Dying Start/Stop battery
- Rear windows defrost contact failure
- Loose bolts on coolant connection
- Coolant reservoir failure

Just wondering if they have those squared away now and what new things to look out for that might have popped up on the '25s.

My '25 is pretty much a clone of my '23, not many options, but I did add the Alpine this time.

Looking forward to being here a lot again. 🙂

My left drivers speaker goes out and then the left rear speaker goes low. Right sides work great. Took it in and speakers were changed out, drove out the parking lot onto the interstate and made a u turn back to dealer because it happened again. They kept my car for 2 days, said could not replicate the problem, got the tech in the car with me, drove down the interstate, it went out 3 times, this time they gave me a rental, kept it for a week, said they reset the radio. Drove out the dealership, problem NOT fixed. I have an iphone 12, my hubby has iphone 12, we have t mobile, my sis has iphone 16 pro with att and it happens every time we use our phones. Doesn't do it on Sirius or fm radio. They are still working the problem. I used their loaner car and no problem. I never had that problem with my 24 Wrangler!!

The problem is not with the speakers but with the uconnect . My 2025 also has iPhone issues unless directly hooked up with a cable to the usb

It’s probably too early to see any consistent issues yet. My 2025 Rubicon x (with 2.0l ) has had occasional instances with RPM drop starting off from a parked position almost threatening to stall and a few other posters have had the same issue. Too intermittent for the dealer to replicate and hopefully it does not to turn out to be something major but one poster reported his problem turned out to be loss of compression due to defective piston ring pins and he needs a new long block

this issue is actually caused by apple if you want to believe it. the more recent ios updates have caused a whole host of carplay issues. the radios (across all the oems) are just setup as a receiver that's activated with bluetooth, then phone tethers via wi-fi and handles everything from there.

all the issues i get on my jeeps with carplay also happen with my mazda

I believe it. It’s definitely not a hardware or speaker issue with the Jeep. All the Apple “upgrades “ of late in my experience have been more like “downgrades”.
