I ordered in the 23. Mostly hoping for more top down weather when it colder… But also when my back hurts, little heat is nice.

The heat is nice on my lower back. Chronic issues from playing hard when younger and I am too lazy to stretch. Heat helps!

The wrangler system is hands down the best steering wheel and seat heater I've ever had (heats up hot and does it fast) which considering the number of vehicles I've had is really impressive. The ac heater is pretty damn good too.

My wife gets injections along her back and she goes under. The saline they add makes her very cold after waking up so I drive up to the door her seat is very hot and she just sinks into it and sleeps on the way home. The cold package is nice.

What's the order status of your '23? I know it's been a minute since your '21 joined the Choir Invisible.

Give some thought to yoga. Put the work in, and you'll feel like a new man. Voice of experience; I too have lower back discomfort that requires attention.

Only the driver’s seat come on automatically, now my wife wants to drive all the time. It is good that the seats heat up quickly.
You can fix that with the Tazer and program both seats to come on at start-up.

Also has settings like this for the steering wheel.
Wondering if there is a way to turn that heat level down
This, but wondering if it'll have any settings to crank up the heat on the steering wheel, or just timed on/off settings?

Was in an older JL that had a steering wheel that got too hot to even touch after a minute, but my '23 barely gets lukewarm no matter how long I leave it on for. Would love to be able to get a comfortable temp somewhere in between scorching skillet and a mug of coffee that's been sitting out for 2 hours.

It's curious to observe the constant hosannas that the Cold Weather package receives, insomuch that the steering wheel heat issue, which you've described perfectly, appears in every thread where the CWP is mentioned.

For a minute, I actually had it in my head that maybe my '23 somehow had the steering wheel heat level tied to the 3-level heated seats or interior/HVAC temp (which would've been an easy/awesome solution for Jeep), but even with everything cranked, the wheel still never gets more than mildly warm-ish to varying degrees of 'meh' (seats get cooking, though!)

It's honestly not even warm enough to bother with and imo, well-deserving of replacement or a recall or service bulletin for a software adjustment, if possible.

I've said before that a first-time visitor to this site, who starts here, could be forgiven for thinking he landed on an I.T. troubleshooting forum, and not an enthusiast website.

If you had told me in 1995, as I sat in my brand new YJ, that Wranglers would ever be just half as complex as they actually are today, I'd have laughed out loud. There's no laughing now, though.

I’m not sure, but I could have sworn that turning down the seat warmer to medium or low also turns down the steering wheel. Anybody else experiment with this, or am I imagining?

Cold weather package is a life saver, especially when you remote start and by the time you get in everything is warm. People in California say they don't need it, well they obviously don't go up to the snow! :giggle:
I live in Southern Arizona and I have the cold weather package. I mean when it gets down to 60˚ it is time for the seat heaters. When the body is acclimated to 100˚+ temps in the summer, 60˚ feels pretty chilly. I also have the engine block heater as I plan to go to Alaska over the summer and it will be colder than Tucson in summer.

Yes it does, I just looked up the functions of the Tazer and the passenger seat heat is listed.
But only if you use auto-start. Those of us with manuals don't have that. I would love that if the passenger air bag is off (someone is sitting in the passenger seat) and the temps are below 40˚, turn on the passenger seat heat as well.

The high setting on the seat warmer gets too hot for me to use. Even medium is ridiculously warm to me. But the low setting and the heated wheel are really nice on a cold day.
