I installed a Clayton ride right 2.5” with Falcon 3.3’s a couple months ago. It seems the rear is sagging a decent amount now. Has anyone had similar issues or am I possibly seeing things? It almost looks like it has gotten worse as it broke in

Looks can be deceiving, the front fender well is higher than the rear.
With it parked on flat level ground have you measured to your rock rails front and rear?

Are you sure you ordered the 2.5" lift for a 4xe? I would call them and check spring part numbers to make sure. The extra battery weight could easily make a non 4xe spring sag.

2nd this. It's hard to tell for sure from a single picture but that rock rail looks level.

Thanks for this, I was looking for a spot to reference on measurements. I’ll pull a tape tonight

Hey there! A couple of things I just wanted to mention and see if I can help out. So on the 4xe models, the lifts will sit almost dead level, as opposed to non 4xe models where we usually keep about an inch of rake. This is of course just due to the 4xe being so much heavier, and the weight being distributed in both the front and rear of the vehicle.

On Rubicon models, sitting level can sometimes look like your sitting a little lower in the back as the front fenders sit a bit higher to allow for additional clearance, so to the eye this can be quite deceiving. I would definitely recommend taking some measurements from the ground to the bottom of the rock rail up front, and the same thing in the back, and you should find it site very level.

Some other things to check would be to just make sure the rear springs are installed on the correct side as they are side-specific, and also you can go through and make sure you're not experiencing any unnecessary bind anywhere. The best way to do this is to unbolt all four shocks and sway bar end links, bounce up and down on the hood a few times with your hands to cycle through the suspension, and then bolt everything back up. If there was any bind, this should get rid of it!

Your Jeep looks awesome by the way, that color combo on the 4xe is amazing! If you continue to have any issues, just give us a call or reach out by email and we're always happy to help!

Are your 4XE springs side specific ?
Yes! Just in the rear. Some 4xe owners even like to upgrade to our HD springs to handle the weight of the vehicle a little better. It's definitely not 100% necessary, just if you really don't like the level look!

Which side needs the specific spring, driver or passenger?

Both technically, if you look at the springs there will be a white part # printed on the outside, they are the exact same except one ends in an R (passenger) and one ends in an L (driver).

No true HD option at the moment, however, you can use the non-HD 2.5" rear springs which is almost exactly the same specs we would make a 1.5" HD spring!

In which case it will be about 1.5 lift on the 4xe given the additional battery weight with 35s mounted on tailgate?

Exactly, going with something a little taller or stronger is nice on the back of the 4xe if you want to keep some rake!
