So far I have 41K miles on my 2019 with the stock clutch. Unless they snuck it in at the dealership during an oil change I did not do the software update. I don‘t wheel often so it does not get too much abuse. Reading through this thread I’m not sure the centerforce is much of a panacea to the sloppy factory clutch. Sounds like it’s a nightmare to install, twice as bad to bleed and you still might not get it right, crapshoot level results, and weird Wookiee noises even if the install seems otherwise all right. Are there other options when this one bites the dust?
There is the southbend clutch kit that will take your stick clutch and upgrade it.

As I wheel about 6-7x per year I was drawn to the heavier flywheel and clamping force plus improved hydraulics.

Will report back on feel and drivability once installed

FWIW I believe South Bend clutches are all dual disc, whereas Cernterforce are single disc.

Thanks for the info - I’ll keep it in mind when mine eventually fails.

Do you have the current gear indicator in the cluster? That’s a sure sign it has been flashed. Safety recalls they will do any time the Jeep is in for service.

No —— And thank God, because I don’t need any more nanny/safety-Sally features.

Are there any tuners that get rid of the flash that pulls torque to save the clutch?

*(just a note I'll post this on a couple different similar threads)

For an update, I've had the CF new hydraulic system for almost 3 months now and FINALLY got to install it. It's a pain having to remove the transmission to install the slave cylinder, but WOW what a difference!

Engagement is super smooth and linear. The factory setup was applying more pressure on the driver side of the clutch than the passenger, essentially "cocking" it sideways and preventing the clutch from fully disengaging. It was likely a contributing factor to the few units that failed spectacularly.

This new unit sits over the input shaft and applies force evenly to the clutch I would recommend it to everyone, even those still running a stock clutch.
Ok I am assuming you also have the newest CF clutch installed, not just the hydraulics on the stock clutch? I have the newest CF II kit in my garage, not sure when I will have it installed, certainly not doing it myself! And when you say have to drop the tranny to install the hydraulics, that's only a pain if you are doing all that work just to install the hydraulics, because obviously the tranny has to be dropped to install the clutch and you would install the hydraulics at the same time yeah?

I’m having trouble visualizing this, did you replace the throw out bearing with a hydraulic unit? I just got my kit and it came with a slave cylinder and a regular throw out bearing.

Correct, the throwout bearings is replaced with one that is also the slave cylinder. I am one of the "beta testers" as it were. I'm not sure when they will complete their validation and begin offering it for sale, but I would recommend holding off on installing your clutch until it becomes available.
Thanks! My clutch is working great,,,, which is how it is until it doesn’t.

So I just received the newest CF2 clutch kit, you're telling me it doesnt include this newest part? Excuse my ignorance, I've driven nothing but manuals my whole life but their inner workings are still foreign to me...My clutch has a new long hose/hydraulic part which isn't the part you are referring too? I should wait and spend more money!!!! on a throwout bearing/sl;ave cylinder combo from CF?
