Based on the grumpy reviews Iām reading here and elsewhere, Iām not sure thereās any practical difference between the crappy OEM glass and the crappy monkey glass. I guess moving either at 70 mph and nearly 90 degrees to the direction of travel produces the look you have there. It seems unavoidable.Haha! When I got the first crack within a couple weeks, I sure was ticked off, thinking I had paid extra for the monkey magic. But I didn't see the logo on the glass, and was pissed about not getting what i paid for! Then I actually looked at the Monroney, and I guess this build didn't include it.... So, it's just the standard crappy glass. Oh well. Hasn't been much point in replacing it yet, no cracks in my vision line. Maybe I'll make it through winter before calling Safelite.
