Wondering what y’all are using for cargo liners on your 2dr’s? Wanting to take my pup with me and I need to contain the hair that he sheds.

I have the weather tech liner, but it’s probably not going to stop dog hair.

Great for dirt and mud, though!

This was the only picture I could find on my phone, but this was after being rolled up in a box for shipping. As soon as it warmed up in the sun it flattened right out.

Some good ideas here for sure. I usually just have a shipping blanket that I get at Runnings or Harbor Freight. That way I can pull it out and most of the hair comes with it.

There are dogs that don’t shed. They have wool instead of hair. Something to look up on your computer for the next dog. That’s one of the reasons old folks in motor homes have poodles. I was amazed that there were so many dogs that don’t shed. In the mean time a can of barbadol and razor or. Clippers. lol hairless dog breads look ugly. I used to have a pu and take my lab hunting or to the local lake for a swim. Ask him if he wanted to go for swim and he would go nuts trying to get in the truck bed. Enjoy while you can. Went through three dogs and now things have changed. ?

Bought the same WeatherTech one shown in this thread. Works awesome. Put down a blanket, dog will be happy. Same situation here...no rear seat--dog in the back.

Especially if your furry pal rides in the back....

Buy and keep in your JL, a couple (or more) of Harbor Freight movers blankets... they are inexpensive and look aok in the rear of the JL..

You can fold them in half and they fit perfectly in the back of the 2 dr. JL.

You can have someone sew up there sides to create a pocket if you want.. They sew easily..

The pockets / shipping pad is useful in hiding stuff in the back of your JL... they are great to keep you warm if you break down and are stuck out in the cold..... Pad stuff you move.. , furry pal to sleep on, etc..

Have two of these pockets and use them to keep your Freedom panels in back there, when they are off.. The padding prevents panel chipping. Panels go easily in the padded pockets.

In a Hail Storm, you can quickly soak them with a hose and place them on the hood of the JL.. or place them dry on the hood of the JL.... Doing so will prevent hail damage / dimples and save you lots of $. I know my shipping pads have saved me issues on more then one occasion over the years.. even with large size hail...

Armorlite needs to get their stuff together and release some rear 2-door mats. I have boxers that travel with me daily. I have bedtread in my JKU and love it. Would rather have the Armorlite in my JL when I get it. I think carpet is the dumbest damn thing ever put in a Jeep. Maybe in a 4-door Sahara or some other soccer-mom edition, but Sports and Rubicons should have vinyl floors with drains standard. Make carpet optional for the fancy people.

I second the non-shedding dog suggestion. We have two (a goldendoodle and a morkie), and there's no need for a liner or blanket.
