lol, actually, I read up on tires and size and how they affect the gears and ratios, even a basic understanding of needing to lengthen the driveshaft after being raised over 2' or so depending who you ask...
Wouldn't the drink fall right through assuming we are talking about flat fenders?
For mapping off road, I use Gaia. It's free and you can import .gpx files. Trailsoffroad.com has GPS files for many popular trails that you can import to Gaia (important, as they still work without cell service once imported). The pulsar will give you more performance boost than the Cai or exhaust.
pulsar?

that would work, or just cut a hole and buy a large rubber plug when not holding a drink,
Water, dirt and mud would fly up through the holes. I am leaning towards the pull out type with a spring loaded bar across the bottom like the early 2000 Rams had in the dash.

No ya see, the rubber plus would plug the hole when not in use. Now in regards to the drink falling through, it most definitely would. I forgot they were flat fenders.

Speaking of sound, do I need a map upgrade for my Uconnect, and on same thought, is "ALLTRAILS" worth the time and money? Thanks gator
Do you actually use Uconnect nav? We exclusively use carplay.

You may be able to find a deal on the update on Ebay.

New driveshaft is normally based on your max droop, not lift height. I know RK recommends a max shock extension of 29" on the stock front driveshaft on the JLU.

I'd recommend the pulsar if you want better throttle response, a little more power, and you can calibrate your speedometer for tire size changes. I have no experience with the jeep version, but it's been flawless on my 2017 ram rebel for 4 years. Being able to switch between tunes on the fly is great, as the performance tune makes the throttle too agressive for wet weather/snow. Sadly they don't offer it for the 2.0t so I cannot run it on the Jeep.

those chip controllers are pricey, will autozone or an auto parts shop in general loan me one like they do with other tools?

No, the throttle controllers modify the sensor on the accelerator pedal's signal before it goes to the Jeep's computer, they have to stay on.

fair enough, however, changing the lift height or much larger tires changes the droop (right) , so is that a distinction worth making?

If you're disconnected, the shock extension will limit droop. Tire size doesn't matter, and lift height just identifies how much droop you've used at ride height.

How about something like the old BMW pop out dash cup holders mounted through the side. Wouldn't work with flat fenders unfortunately.

So you (I) can put a paper cup into it and then absent-mindedly smash it closed? Nah, use flat fenders, have an extra panel with the cup holes on top that flips out, and you get a bigger table too.

Great, I've put more than 60 seconds of thought and design into this. If I ever smush a front fender, I guess I know what I'll be doing.

I did honestly think that there would be an aftermarket fender with one though.

The calibrators (like the Tazer) can be removed. On older vehicles, you could program through OBD, but I think the Jeeps are locked out by the PCM, which gets swapped.

i am trying to learn uconnect and what it can do, so far, i've got on and off down pat, lol. seriously, regarding NAV and that whole box of goodies, trying to decide what to use, with uconnect and or my phone and all it's apps available, trying to combine methods so that regardless of method, my info is consistent.
