Are bump stop extensions necessary when using only 1" spacers? I plan on putting two .5" Teraflex spacers on the front of my Rubi for 1" of spacing, and one .5" spacer in the back, for some extra leeway if I want to add a rear steel bumper. Since I really like the stock height with my 35s, my main goal here is just to even out the stance a bit, but I figure might as well add a tiny bit of height too.
The problem is, the only bump stop extensions I can find are 2" in height, which seems excessive for a 1" spacer. For the rear I feel like at only .5" I can get away with no bump stop extensions, but do you think it'd be safe to not use any bump stop extensions for the front 1" spacers, or is that dangerous territory? And if you think I should use them, does anyone know where I can find 1" bump stop extenders?
