Bolt Hood Locks for the JL

For those interested ... The article linked below indicates that BOLT has now released their hood locks (and others) for the JL. I checked their site however and there are no JL references yet. Hopefully they'll be listed soon.

Still not released but some vendors (including Amazon) are taking pre-orders. Pretty bad that they can’t get a desired accessory out when the vehicle is into its third model year of production. It only took the Chinese about a year and Mopar a couple of years. This is making both Bolt and their vendors look incompetent and consequentially lose customers.

Having said that, I ordered mine from the Australian website back in June and I am still waiting.

I agree, credibility is being lost.

Ordered mine 5 weeks ago and still waiting - vendor backorder. Another vendor has a blanket statement constantly saying it's 30 days to ship. Bolt's website has a store finder on the part page though looking at almost a dozen stores near me, none even list the product.

My only issue with the locking catches is another key on the world's largest FOB.

I would just keep the key in the glove box, and lock the glove box.

I have similar ones installed and my friend didn't know they were locked and just reached and pushed them down with little resistance and they opened up easily.

I also just today received a shipping notice for the Bolt Hood Lock from Northridge. It has been on back-order since August.

Ordered mine in August from Quadratec. Yesterday I received shipping notice and tracking #.

Shipments were made this week, so when anyone asked the Bolt reps at SEMA, why the delay, the reps can just look puzzled and reply with, "they are shipping, what problem?"
