I'm going to do my body lift later this spring. I had a well respected shop manager at my go-to auto body shop recommend that I spray Blasters PB Penetrating Catalyst on the bolts 3 days before I go to loosen them. He said just make sure it's not going to rain for those 3 days, and keep the vehicle dry. And then the day you go to crank those bolts off, spray a little more on them at least 4 hours prior to your project start.

I haven't actually tried it myself yet, but this guy's word is valuable. I mean, he's only been in the business for 50 years, what would he know? ?

If I were you I would use this technique, spray them 3 days prior, then 4 hours prior then loosen them a little bit, spray them a little more, maybe let it sit another hour, and then finish wrenching them off. You shouldn't have any issues.
I’m def gonna go with the ace rock sliders at some point, I just wanted something now so went with mopar and an easier quick install for right now, I’m sure it will be fine it’s just reading some stories will make you get cold feet ??

That’s why I opted for a trusted shop to do the install(100 bucks well spent). I even reminded them of the body bolt hazard of possible bolt breakage during the removal. They were fully aware of the issue and the dreaded red loctite on those front bolts. It literally took them 30 minutes to install them! I didn’t ask what technique used, but from what I gather heat is the trick and slowly backing them off. They look dynamite when ran with the oem ruby rails.

Wondering if they stopped using the loctite on 2023's. Was worried about breaking the bolts on mine and had 0 problems and didnt see any trace of any loctite on any of the bolts.
Nope. my 1000 mile 23 JL 2dr, lots and lots of red locktight, dumb I say.

Inductive heating coil, heats just the bolt, but costs over $1000 Cheap $200 one from amazon may work, but thats what a dealer charge would be, so....
