You need to really lighten up man. Every thread I see no sense of humor and no sarcarm and whit from you. Just trying to have a little fun and show my off road only jeep that is deleted and come up with a funny way of telling people. Jeez
I am sarcastic, and very fun to be around.

Not everything, but a good probably 60% of what I post on here is meant to be read with a sarcastic voice. I understand, that the downside of text based communication is that it is read with your own emotions. So if you are reading my post with a stern overbearing voice, that's on you. I'm guessing you posted this expecting some backlash and then read my post wanting it. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Always tell people around here, that the day I do a stage two tune, you'll never see a picture of my Jeep on this forum again from that point forward. I mean I'm not dumb enough to build the EPA's case for them, but you keep doing you buddy!

@Tread4Lo I didn't realize I posted the same meme above. :LOL::facepalm:๐Ÿ˜ฅ

It is a good meme! I think it's worthy of a second post! Maybe even a third cuz clearly @harrish24 can't take a joke! ;):like:

@PrimeTime4370 Firearms aren't victims, the same way they are the cause of shootings.

As for the rolling coal, I would say the vast majority of diesel Jeepers just want engine longevity. They don't want to roll coal, they want to save the bees from DEF (from some other thread here (this is a joke as well)), lose a little weight for the New Year. Basically a win-win situation.

Just like the military not having to put the emissions on all their diesels for reliability and longevity. Just watch a deal on the Warthog from Halo 3. I4 baby Duramax with no emissions. Mechanics and Engineers claim easier service, runs on all types of diesel (shit from across the oceans to whatever we have here in the States).

That's all we want as well. But until that law changes, we will enjoy our Jeeps stock as-is and bitch about what could be.

I am with you. I don't like rolling coal. I would wager that people's perception on diesels would be a lot different and there would less restrictions on them if you could never see their emissions just like gas engines. People don't care that there are many gas engines on the road emitting way more than a diesel, just as long as they can't see it.

It goes beyond that. There is a stereotype applied when someone is rolling coal. Whether it's fair or not is another discussion. But it's there. And it affects people's reaction to the whole issue of diesel emissions.

It's not unlike the stereotype of people in ATVs tearing up the landscape. That stereotype gets trails closed.

Fair or not, the people rolling coal are their own worst enemy.

True, a lot has to do with the stereotype, but I think it is exacerbated by it being seen. I can guarantee what my deleted 328d, that blows out a small puff of black smoke at wide open throttle before it clears up, will draw more ire from people than my old 1970 Mustang 302 at wide open throttle. Even though the Mustang is emitting way more emissions, the fact that the 328d's emissions is seen makes it the evil one.

The 328d gets over 45 mpg and the Mustang gets 10 mpg, but people would rather have my deleted 328d shut down than my old Mustang. I asked my wife, who is not a car person, which one she thinks pollutes more, and she believes it is the 328d simply because it blows a puff of black smoke at WOT and the Mustang didn't.

I think the same goes for trucks as well. I have seen young punks in old gasser Z71's and FX4's act like fools going wide open throttle everywhere they go which is no different than the kids driving their daddy's old Cummins, PSD, or Dmax rolling coal everywhere. I can guarantee that the diesels kids will get more hate than the gasser kids, even though they act the same, simply because their emissions can be seen.

Hopefully you're not promoting the "DEF is bad for bees" conspiracy theory.

@Ratbert I am not. Just finding humor in a lot of the delete/DEF/roll coal threads. My wife did tell me to take off the foil cap this morning though.

Not to ruin everyone's fun but...

@harrish24 I would recommend you turn this into a delete thread fairly quick.

I don't think a lot of people realize it, but EPA agents are in fact federal agents who do carry guns. It's not just some schmuck behind a computer.

Doing their job for them whether sarcastically or not is probably not a great idea.
i one day hope to die in a firefight with the EPA of all departments. Just the sheer rediculiousness of it.

its a fine, a large fine, but a fine at most in the states. the EPA dosent serve no-knocks to poor schmucks who just got in a boating accident.
