Hello. So i changed all four brake hoses. While doing so, all my bake fluid leaked out. I knew I'd need to bleed the system at each caliper. I don't know if air got into the master cylinder or not. Do I need to take the master off and bench bleed it, or just fill it up and start bleeding at the calipers? Thank you.

You must do an ABS bleed if you got air in the system. Doing a normal brake bleed will not get trapped air out of the ABS system.

You need a obd scan tool to activate brake bleeding on anitlock module, if its anything like most other vehicles

Ok. Thank you. I have the VDIAGTOOL VD70S. I’ve never used it before. Supposedly it’ll do the abs bleeding. I also have the tazer jl. Do I need to unmarry that before using the vd70s? (I don’t know why the text size changed)

You should be able to leave the Tazer in place, since it uses the secure gateway connection. Your diagnostic tool most likely connects through the OBD port. I have done the ABS bleed twice using J-Scan, and I did not disconnect the Tazer either time.

Good luck!
