best antenna replacement

Having issues when going through car washes as the stock antenna gets whipped around. Is there a replacement antenna that is shorter but delivers same or better reception?

Plus does anyone know of a stubby antenna that is rigid in strength so at highway speeds does not go floppy.

Excellent question! I've heard good and bad about several, I finally gave up and bought a Rydonair 13". Haven't put it on yet but when I do I'll let you know what I think.

I went with the antenna x “cb style “. Not sure of length, but it’s a couple of inches below roofline. I would have rather it not be so shiny, but I’m pleased with it.

I agree, I’ve had a 13 inch antenna X both on my last JK and my JL Rubicon. Great reception not floppy, very good antenna!

I have the same antenna and have not experienced any "floppyness" (ha ha) during highway speed driving and it did not have any negative impact on reception...very pleased...

I agree. Had this on since February. Looks like OEM (fits flush and won’t be wider than the factory antenna mount) and has yet to get snap off at the wash.

I got that one as well. Like it a lot. Low enough profile without going to a stubby length, slender but stiff, and I still get good reception.
