I manage thousands of computers in enterprise. When an update needs to be deployed, we have to "stage" the update. This means we have a small group test the update. Then we target 5% of computers, give it a few weeks. Then we add another 10% of the computers, give it a few weeks. Then a few more incremental increases in targeted computers, until all computers have the update.

I totally understand the process, and I get that @JeepCares has a customer service role. I'm sure she has passed our input to their Engineering group. If you guys didn't know, Jeep now offers Gorilla Glass for $95 on new builds, pretty sure our input and @JeepCares's passing the word along helped get that to happen. :)

I'm anxious to get all the updates. After spending all of June traveling across the country getting BOHs, there were several situations where backing up became pucker moments. LOL

Yes GG was a great option which I chose...BTW not a single Jeep has been built delivered with GG, day 46 and and counting. :facepalm:

Interesting, as mine is 20.45.12, but the Uconnect site says I am current. Kinda makes one wonder. 39.6 seems to be the one with the 'fix'. This is a lot like waiting for the COVID-19 vaccine. It's here, now you have to wait your turn.
How do you check for the version of the system? TIA

Hold the driver's side Up temperature, Down temperature, and windshield defrost buttons for a few seconds. That will give you the option to enter the mode to check the application version.

Thanks! I am at 20.53.10 yet the website says I am up to date.
The website will say you are up to date due to this being an OTA (over the air) update. Somehow U-Connect's logic was not to make it available on the software update portion of their website ?. U-Connect contacted me today and said "I've been entered in the line" for the update and I should receive it this week or next ?

I’m sure all possibilities have been exhausted on here. But is it possible being caused by plugging in iPhone to center console. Lines come and go and the only thing I can figure I am doing. Thanks

Not for me, I’ve never plugged my phone in, in the Jeep.

For me, that could be the case as well.

What I've done is to start the Jeep, turn on the radio and let it go through its 'start-up routine'--displaying the legalese and hitting the 'Accept' button--then plug my iPhone into the center console. After I've done this, I'll get backup lines. If I rush the routine, it's hit-or-miss if I get lines.

I have yet to get an OTA update, but I have a fairly recent (March 2021) build.
