Manual vs. automatic, 9mm vs .45, beans vs. no beans in chili, it's a completely religious argument, nobody on this thread is going to have their mind changed. LOL. In my case, I bought my hated, un-resellable, worthless 2-Door manual fully knowing about the clutch issue. No big, I've been driving a stick all my life and for a fun vehicle I'm OK with the potential risk of the clutch exploding into a mushroom shaped ball of fire on the expressway at 4:45 PM.

I fully expect that the next generation Wrangler will do away with the manual. The current take rate is way too low for the beancounters to support the costs involved and the upcoming Hurricane engine wasn't designed to support a manual. The 6-spd JL is the last of a dying breed and I'm glad I have one.
Manual, .45 / .454 / .458 ? , no beans, double shot expresso.

I disagree. Most manual Jeep buyers are manual or Nothing.
Almost all of my (18?) vehicles have been manuals. The gearing in my manual 2020 JLUR 3.6 was pretty damn awful. I have an automatic in my current Rubicon and it's significantly better.

Wow a shame there isn't more manuals on the road. I've always enjoyed driving one. But I guess the Wrangler manual is different, so I've heard.

I like having an automatic because it allows me to ride with my left foot hanging out into traffic with the doors off, and frees up my right hand to hold my beer or cell phone while driving. ?

I mean who wouldn’t want a vehicle so easy to drive that a one-armed, one-legged person could do it? ?

I've owned many manuals over the years, including 4WD that saw a lot of off roading. Used to prefer them. Now that I'm old I like the automatic and Jeep's ZF transmission is a good one.

9mm vs 45: I own both and slightly prefer the 45 because that's what my 1911s are. But nothing wrong with the 9s.

I'm from Texas and I've been to Terlingua a number of times. Official cook-off rules state no beans. The chili I make at home has beans, but either style is fine.

Just the way I roll. It's all good.

Carry on! ?

Because both of ur examples are not only dangerous but also stupid. Ever hear of 'don't txt and drive'! Try catching a rock in ur shin at 60 mph. The phone usage is exceptionally stupid in a wrangler, they don't handle like a Cadillac! By the time u type 5 letters u could be in the other lane or heading for the ditch!

I’m sitting at home with a broken left leg, broken right wrist, with a 2 door manual Sport on order.

Did you know that @TheBirdie72 actually typed that specific post on his laptop while simultaneoulsy driving his wrangler, with his left foot hanging out the window, and with a beer in his right hand? Popped a couple of wheelies at the same time.
