Manual, .45 / .454 / .458 ? , no beans, double shot expresso.Manual vs. automatic, 9mm vs .45, beans vs. no beans in chili, it's a completely religious argument, nobody on this thread is going to have their mind changed. LOL. In my case, I bought my hated, un-resellable, worthless 2-Door manual fully knowing about the clutch issue. No big, I've been driving a stick all my life and for a fun vehicle I'm OK with the potential risk of the clutch exploding into a mushroom shaped ball of fire on the expressway at 4:45 PM.
I fully expect that the next generation Wrangler will do away with the manual. The current take rate is way too low for the beancounters to support the costs involved and the upcoming Hurricane engine wasn't designed to support a manual. The 6-spd JL is the last of a dying breed and I'm glad I have one.
