Audio cutting in and out

Reading this thread makes me not feel so crazy.

Last week the radio in my Jeep started doing this same thing. The audio cuts in and out on FM/AM/Carplay/SXM.

The funny thing is, it only started doing this when it got cold outside.

Looks like another trip to the dealership. Really dreading that after the bang up job they did on my windshield replacement from the "whistle"

The Uconnect team is supposed to reach out to me so a specialist can look at it. My dealer was unable to do anything when I went two weeks ago.
Please update us when they call you

So far anytime it's under 35 degrees it stutters.... I tried to pull the F11 fuse but nothing happened.... Call Uconnect support and the phone is unaffected by the stuttering... But they were not able to help. Going to need to go to dealership but going to wait until I know it's going to be under 35 degrees...

Hi cbournis and offset,
We understand why this would be frustrating. Please feel free to send us a private message once you have an appointment set up with your dealer. We would be happy to add some extra assistance while your Jeep is at the dealer.

I’m glad it makes you feel better, it also stinks that the dealer has to take apart our dash and potentially damage somthing and cause a rattle.

My dealer can’t see me again until next Tuesday. Hopefully we can all figure out what’s going on with our jeeps.

Mine cuts in and out all the time but I think that has to do with the Mountains I live around and always listening to SiriusXM.

I posted another thread about this. Please post if you have this issue as it would be helpful for Jeep to know.

Seems in my Jeep, it’s related to remote start (likely remote start when it’s cold).

Hopefully, it’s just a software update. Listening to music from my iPhone rather than my alpine speaker system, which Jeep doesn’t give away for cheap, would be nice.

I don’t think it has to do with remote start, when I don’t remote start my vehicle I still have issues. It might be from the auto starting of the heated steering wheel and seats. I don’t know.

Link your thread but I am using this thread just to document how often it happens to me.

This morning I got into my JL after remote starting it ( I’ve done this before) and I get in and the audio is on SXM and cutting in and out. I thought maybe it had something to do with SXM so I plugged in my phone and started Spotify to play a song. Same thing, about every 4-5 seconds the audio pauses for .5 seconds then comes back. Very frustrating, only 550 miles and 13 days of ownership.

Anyone have any idea how I can fix it?
OMG I'm having the exact same issue since last week. After only 3 weeks of owning my Jeep. Fist 2 weeks no issue, since that occurred, it happens 1 time out of 3 DAILY =(

Check video and let me know if you get the same.

In my case it seems to happen more often when I push to start, less often when I remote start...

I also notice than when it happens, the backup camera guidelines are gone.

I have tried turning off the auto confort or trying it with remote start only and still no luck it happens daily and random moments only when I park the jeep for hours do I get another shot!

In my case it's always cold (live in Montreal, Quebec) at least since I own the truck it has been consistently under 35 Fahrenheit. The issue is occurring 1 time out of 3 no matter what the temp is.
