Brought them wheels and tires in a box, asked them to put them on the jeep and they put the tires on my stock wheels, and then claimed they didn't have new valve stems to put in new wheels anyway so they couldn't have done it right to begin with. They also lost all of my valve caps and I had to raise hell to get them to do anything right. Unfortunately, they offer free oil changes for life so I'll keep taking it back. They put on different wheels and tires by mistake?
Half of FCA's problems probably are due to incompetent dealers.Brought them wheels and tires in a box, asked them to put them on the jeep and they put the tires on my stock wheels, and then claimed they didn't have new valve stems to put in new wheels anyway so they couldn't have done it right to begin with. They also lost all of my valve caps and I had to raise hell to get them to do anything right. Unfortunately, they offer free oil changes for life so I'll keep taking it back.
Yeah, you're probably right. And I've enjoyed every single mile. Granted, I've only owned this thing for nine months, but so far, it has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. You might have the highest milage JL on the forum? It's great to hear you have been totally problem free. It's reassuring for potential buyers to hear about you and the other problem free owners. Thanks to you and the other owners for replying.
FJ got 178,000 miles. M/T as well. Replaced clutch at 140K miles. Replaced control arm at 160K because it was seized and couldn’t align. Replaced belt idler pulley after getting in muddy water that covered the hood ( Wrangler following me sucked water in the intake, FJ towed it home lol.It would be interesting to hear your comments comparing your FJ to the JL. Great to hear you have been problem free.
Side note: what is the weight of your Airstream?I'm pushing 10k on my jlur auto, no problems. About 2500 of those towing my airstream.
Might be a mistake to keep taking it back to them .Brought them wheels and tires in a box, asked them to put them on the jeep and they put the tires on my stock wheels, and then claimed they didn't have new valve stems to put in new wheels anyway so they couldn't have done it right to begin with. They also lost all of my valve caps and I had to raise hell to get them to do anything right. Unfortunately, they offer free oil changes for life so I'll keep taking it back.
