You should have a plow Jeep.
I couldn't agree more. My plow trucks are the cheapest beaters I can find. I beat the living hell out of them the few times each year that I need them and they sit and serve as a mouse/chipmunk/squirrel/snake habitat the rest of the time. That ranger in the picture had no brakes whatsoever, power steering that worked for 30 seconds each time you filled the pump reservoir and smelled like absolute death - to the point that you could not sit in it with the windows closed. Damn I miss that truck :like:

I have a plow Yukon, now. Got it for next to nothing. It's actually pretty nice all things considered - damn shame what I've got in store for it...

I do not need 4x4 in the summer, however in the winter it can be a lot of "fun". Yes, that's my plow truck, stuck and essentially useless - thus the footprints

I’ve had dreams of a driveway like this. I always wanted to have a house only accessible by 4x4. Needless to say living in the city has worn me out.
I have a friend that lives at 10k feet. During our recent storm he set his alarm for every three hours overnight. That was the only way he could keep up with plowing his driveway. No thanks!

I tried it a couple of times down sections of sketchy, loose downhills and didn't like it. I trust myself more than electronics even though electronics can usually racat quicker than me and control things that I can't.:)
Wait... what did you just say ?

Copilot
The button in the image is for the Hill Descent Control feature in a Jeep. This feature helps to maintain a slow, controlled speed while descending steep hills without needing to use the brake pedal constantly. The icon on the button, a car on an inclined surface with two curved lines behind it, represents this function. It appears to be illuminated, suggesting it is active or can be activated by pressing it. This button is likely located on the vehicle’s dashboard or control panel. Please refer to your vehicle’s manual for more specific information.

It's awesome for those times with you have a really sketchy down hill, your tapping away on your OnX trying to find that damn camping site right before sunset, your coffee is a little full and getting a little sloshy, and your passenger is going crazy pointing out the water fall you just missed. It does all the work so you can enjoy your off-road adventure LOL. Works great for rock gardens also!
