I love my '15 JKUR and while I have had other cars during the jeep ownership and will continue to do so, the jeep is not going anywhere, every time I drive it brings me smiles, almost as much as the C8 corvette I had earlier in the year...actually not really, but pretty close

Cool bud, you be you... I wasn't referring to anyone specific and I hope you didn't think it was directed at you.
see my point made, i wasn't trying to say you did or did not point at anyone, its just hard to see what someone means in limited wording

Tired again
I see both sides to this argument. I struggle with it too. I have never enjoyed a vehicle in my 51 years more than my Jeep. However, the reliability and dealer experience just suuuuuucks way worse than any other car maker I have ever dealt with. It baffles me why we can't have the best of both worlds. A unique, fun car like a Jeep with at least some of the reliability of something like a Toyota. Why does it have to be one or the other?
Unfortunately, Jeep hasn't figured this out yet. Consider our two-wheeled brethren who buy Harleys, myself included. This is another 70-ish year-old design and basic technology that has been moderately modernized to "keep up with the times". Owners don't buy them because they are the latest and greatest, but because they are a modern-day version of a classic, that we can personalize to our hearts content. I have often told people that if you took a World War 2 vet that had been in a decades-long coma and walked him through a parking lot today, that the only vehicle he would recognize would be the Jeep. And Harleys.

The difference between the companies? Long ago, HD figured out that they needed to make the bikes dependable without losing their heritage. Decades have passed since the days of bikes leaking oil from day one, and parts falling off while you ride them from the vibration. The last two I have owned have been incredibly solid, dependable bikes that STILL deliver on the nostalgia and cool factor. Jeep could learn something here.

The dealerships? Most Harley dealers are family-owned and/or run locations, and treat you like family, whether you bought your bike there, or are just stopping in while on vacation somewhere.

We CAN have the best of both worlds, but not when Jeep is owned by the Fiats and Stelantises of the world. Large multi-nationals don't care unless it turns the highest profit for them, and they never will. That is their business model. Harley IS a publicly traded company, but still maintains connections to the founders. The majority-stock holders also figured out to take the long road to profits by updating the bikes without really changing them too much.

So, how about it Willie G. Davidson- Wanna buy the Wrangler model from Stellantis? ??

I agree 100%.... I understood exactly what you meant, I was just making it clear, since it is so hard to interpret limited text.

Not sure what you mean....can you explain further? I was just passing along well wishes for OP, following the onslaught of negativity from our trolls.
My apologies, it was nice and it surprised me. There are a lot of trolls out there.

Your money your choice. But coming from a taco, it really is a boring truck. Just like every other Toyota out there.
Agreed. Former Tundra owner. I love my Jeep

to be fair, posting a long rant about how much jeeps suck and how unreliable (although yours has been reliable) and how crappy of a manufacturer and that is why you are getting rid of yours for a Toyota is going get that type of response from the people on here like us who happen to love our jeeps and wouldn’t consider a different brand.
[/QUOTEMost disappointing vehicle I’ve ever owned is a new 4Runner Off Road. Mystery squeaks and could never get the thing to track straight. I guess there’s a reason ALL dealers service departments are full and fixing stuff.
