Yesterday I noticed my check engine light is on, a quick scan reveal

p1b14 - something related to the parking paw not in the correct position.

the previous day I triggered the auto-park multiple times due to having to open doors at a drive through. I think I did struggle with the shifter not going into gear for a few seconds afterward.

right now the weather condition is barely below freezing, quite warm I must say.

it works fine yesterday, and I have tested the parking latch multiple times when commuting, it locks and disengages fine.

is there anything I should be concerned with, say fluids and stuff? or just forget about it.

Depending on how hard it auto-parked, you may have bent the parking pawl or broke the barrel spring and now it can't engage fully. Time to take it in under warranty.

Clear the code and if it doesn’t come back carry on with life.

Yea that’s not a good fault to have. Basically it says the parking pawl was stuck on when not requested. You didn’t pull on the rope did you?

Engaged when stopped, but now my question is does the auto-park engage destructively? cause that sounds dangerous.

Clear the code and if it doesn’t come back carry on with life.
Didn't comeback for 3 days, there is a permanent code that said it will clear itself after sometime.

nope I did not touch the park release. the whole situation lasted seconds.
