Glad to see this was an easy fixed. I just installed my aux switches today and I'm nervously waiting for my flashcal to arrive next week. Without flashing, should I expect any indicator lights when pressing those 4 buttons or when headlights are on? I don't have anything light up now and I really hate to take everything apart again. No issues with fuses.

Update:
1. It is very easy to use Flashcal to enable Aux switches. I am very happy with Flashcal, also used it to set fog as DRL on my sport and a couple of other minor things.

2. Like others have noted, I too had connection issue with orange wire in the new connector. I initially triple checked everything is seated properly and I am still confident that they are. However the issue seems to come from the thin wire itself, the wire must be damaged when I pull the pin out of the original connector.
It is an easy fix to cut the pin off and twist 2 orange wires together, then shrink wrap and tape it up.

Now everything works perfectly.

I’m having the same issue with my switches (and trailer wiring harness). Turns out my fuse box doesn't have the ports for the fuses and relays for the Aux Switches or towing package. The slots are there, but no connectors, so the fuses or relays don't connect. I'm assuming replacing the fuse box is the only solution? Does anyone have a part number for it? Searched online and threads here, but haven't found anything yet.

Adding the Aux switches doesn't require opening, much less connecting to anything inside, the fuse box. I dont know about the tow package.

Is this all you need for the reflash to avoid going to the dealer? https://superchips.com/shop/flashcal-for-jl-wrangler Any reason/need to get the more expensive one - https://superchips.com/shop/f5-flashpaq-for-2018-2020-jeep-jl-wrangler Is it additive to the Tazer I already have?
Going to be installing this next week. Thanks.

Holy shit. This was my problem too. My auxiliary switches weren’t getting power and i didn’t know where to look. checked connections, grounds, in the fuse box... nothing. that little fuse by the battery leads was hidden up under something else. Thanks everyone!!!!!!
@cararose1977, where is the fifth fuse, the 'little fuse by the battery leads'?
I'm having a similar problem and have checked all the fuses in the fuse box. I'm at a loss because I've had my aux switches working. I'm adding an ARB compressor and now none of the aux switches are working. I've checked all my fuses, checked the TSB on the aux switch panel, and verified all my relays are installed. (I have a factory aux switch installed.)

Your Tazer would work just fine. For reference only, no need for the more expense version of Flashcal to enable Aux switches. That's more for engine tuning. There are also other options such as a paid App. (I believe it is called JScan). But you have to separately purchase cables and a few other things which comes to just a bit cheaper than Flashcal.
I thought about to get the App and return my Flashcal, but at the end I decided to keep it.

All,
Just an update. I solved my problem, so hopefully this will help someone in the future.

Solution: charge your battery and then drive around a little.

I had been working on my Jeep for about 2 weeks with fenders off and in various states of repair. I hadn't driven my Jeep around in a while. I put a trickle charger on the battery, which took a while, so clearly it needed a charge. When I finally drove it, I noticed a message display that said approximately 'AUX switches disabled until battery charged'. Hmmm. I drove it about 10 minutes and then tried the AUX switches... worked!

So it appears that there is some internal program that prevents the AUX switches from working if the battery is too low. Charge your battery and drive around a little. It resolved my issue!

Just finished mine. Same issue as a lot of people have had - - blown 5 amp fuse by the battery. And took an hour to get that #13 wire all the way into the factory harness. Paired it with the Tazer with no problems. Now hooking up some lights....

So, I am having the same issue! I have gone through all fuses and Tazer JL installation. We are good there. The only thing I think it could be is the orange wire connection at the harness. Getting the factory wire out was a nightmare and now doesn't fit factory snug. My plan is to remove both sides and hard wire the damn thing. Here's my question. I will have to add an extention wire to join what I cut out. Does anyone know what type of wire to get to make this connection? I will sober and heat wrap the connections. Thanks in advance.

This procedure fixed my issue too. 2019 JLRU, I installed the aux switch and harness. Added it thru JLTazer mini. The Aux switches showed up in the settings, but the switches don't light up or no power to any of the wires. I think I saw a spash message about the battery being low or something like that. So I took it for a spin and after a few minutes I hit the buttons and they all light up. Hope this helps somebody!

A few things that may help:
1. Remove the main fuse (close to the power terminals) of the harness before the installation. This would avoid any accidental blow up during installation. If I'll do this again, I would do the power connection all the way at the end. My main fuse was blown after the installation. Not sure how it happened.
2. While wiring the connectors, listen for the click sound for each wire while it is inserted into their holes including the #13.

Were you able to find out if the switched should have power if they haven’t been activated in Uconnect? Trying to decide if I have a wiring issue or just need to activate. My Tazer comes next week.

My switch lights did not come on until I had them activated (via Jeep and not Tazer).

Awesome. Thank you. That’s exactly what I was wondering.

do you know if there is any difference between activating with dealer or Tazer?
