Aluminum front bumper options

i was hoping to upgrade the front bumper, but don’t feel like dealing with the rust from steel in the Midwest. The last info I’ve been able to find on this is years old. Any suggestions or experiences with aluminum bumper brands- what is the best (money not a concern)?

Best is always a matter of opinion, but I really like the RockHard 4x4 Patriot bumpers.

I have the Barricade Aluminum Front bumper only 54lbs, I went aluminum purely for the weight as I am towing this behind a motorhome and weight is critical/ I cols not be happier with the bumper.

here is the Rock Hard 4x4 Aluminum Full Width Patriot front bumper when it was first installed on my Jeep. (arguably the best Aluminum Front bumper makers) they make them in different sizes too if you don't want the full front protection you can get a stubby or something. Highly recommend them, easy install, clean lines, excellent strength aluminum used to make them, no corners skipped. But, they are pricey. *Edit* oh, and the full width is only like 37 pounds.)

It is a 3/4 bumper so it does not extend full width, what does stick out beyond the stubby is very little and narrow. Also note the tow points on the Barricade bumper they are through bolted to the frame plate, whereas the LOD bumper is welded outside the frame plate area, the LOD bumper is more likely to have tow damage for that reason, aluminum is light and it is not nearly as strong as steel so you wan the tow points connected directly to the frame. Note: when I say that means out of a ditch, unstuck or a Jam not long distance towing (TOAD)

It's a prototype JL bumper. The JL stuff should be released soon.

Have been waiting a while now to see how much this bumper is going to be since it is one of the best looking and very arguably the best aluminum manufacturer of parts since they pretty much started the trend of aluminum skids and bumpers on Jeeps.

Based on the amount of (or lack there of) Aluminum used it should be affordable...
