Hey All -

Recently in my 2018 JLUR all my warning lights are flashing on then going off.

- While driving speedo and tach stop working, comes back after a few minutes
- ESC Lights up
- AUX Batt lights up - replaced last month (Service Start Stop)
- Service 4WD lights up
- Disconnect Sway bar not available lights up

Basically the entire electoral system freaks out, all warning lights go on then go away. What stays on is the ESC light. Sometimes the Service Start Stop, but again just replaced the AUX battery, tested to make sure I didn't get a faulty battery and it's still good.

Recently I had the gateway module replaced under warranty as the Radio stop working - all is fine now with the radio.

I have no drive-ability problems and this happens once or twice a week.

Its currently at local dealer here in North Texas, 35 engine codes stored. Mostly lost communication with whatever system its trying to talk too. I suspected the battery but no low voltage codes. I did notice the battery gage showing 12.2 volts at idle after all the warning lights went out. The next morning, battery was showing 14.2 volts on a cold start.

Dealer wasn't sure where to start. I told them in order of events look at the ESC system then the battery. ESC light always shows up first. They're going to have it for about a week to figure out what's actually happening.

I had a star case started for the gateway module, wondering if I need to do the same thing..

Anyone have any experience with this problem?? Tagging @JeepCares too

Replace the main battery as well. Best to do both at the same time.

I'm curious to see if I get a call from the Dealer tomorrow, I dropped it Friday.

One can’t accurately determine the health of a battery with a simple voltage check.

Batteries should always be load tested.

Update here

Heard from Dealer. Through catalogued star files they were able to trace the problem to a faulty bus connector, the one that communicates to every other electrical item. Let's see what happens, fingers crossed this solves the problem...

Finally got my Jeep back. Bus connector took care of the problem in case that helps anyone in the future. The dealer also replaced my radiator that was leaking slowly, head gasket, valve cover gaskets and timing chain gasket. All under powertrain warranty, I had the bus connector and radiator replaced no charge under an extended warranty. First time I've ever purchased an EW but totally worth it. I was surprised they did the engine work, didn't know they did that until I picked it up. It was a pleasant surprise.

Other than that, how are you enjoying your Jeep?
