Hello! I've always had issues with my JLUR wandering and I've never known if it was just me or the Jeep. I'm trying to adjust but after 6 thousand miles it still feels a bit weird if I go over 70. I've been thinking about swapping the control arms out for the mopar longer ones, but I'm trying to figure out if it will make it better or worst.
The reason I ask is because I have a Warn winch on front, which weighs it down. I *think* it brings the front axle back a bit and increases caster. I have a digital anger finder and if I stick that on the flat part to the right of the pumpkin (on those holes), I get 89.9 degrees. If I stick the angle finder on the bottom of the knuckle, I get 7.9 degrees.
If I'm understanding this properly, I have a lot of caster already, possibly because the winch is weighing things down? From my diy garage numbers, I have about 6 degrees of caster? If I add the longer mopar LCA, then it would increase that to about 7 degrees while I want to be going the other way?
I'm trying to figure out if it's just me....or if the Mopar LCA for the lift fix would make my problem better or worst. I feel like a dope going to a place and being like "just give me the numbers", throw money, time and parts at it, go back and figure out I made a bad decision.
Thanks!
