Alignment is it worth it?

i just put a new set of tires, is it even worth getting an alignment since only toe can be adjusted? I can do DIY toe adjustment myself.

I Kind of like to know what my caster and camber are. More for my own curiosity than anything

Can’t hurt to have it checked. Tires are expensive, no sense wearing them out. Even though only toe is adjustable, an alignment check of camber/caster could show potential problems such as worn ball joints or bent components if those angles aren’t in spec

After the new lift and tires/wheels, I had my alignment guy also adjust the front trackbar and recenter the axle. Mine is the Synergy one that does not have to be removed to adjust, so easy peasy and he has everything he needs to see on the computer already.

Firestone offers a lifetime alignment for like $200. You can go everything other month if you want and I have been getting them on everything I own since the late 90's. I go every few months or after any suspension changes/tire changes. If I have a rough off-roading adventure, I make an alignment appointment.

Not worth it to me unless I want to see a readout chasing an issue….

Somebody has to do it… if you are the type to put it on the list to get around to later, just have the shop do it.

Easy DIY...set toe -1/8" ... will help reduce "wondering"

Did the last set of tires wear out evenly? If so, I wouldn't bother.

The tires i had were used, it had tire cupping on the outside and vibration on the highway. With the new tires the ride is smooth no vibration. I did adjust the toe for slight toe in about 3-4mm.
