Awesome pics. In the sunlight so you can actually see. Taken at correct angle to see the poke of the wheel. I can appreciate anyone taking the time to post pics (good and bad) but you take excellent pics!
Thanks from another electricity maker. 43 years cracking atoms to keep the world warm! Ha!

Update on the JK Borah wheels. I spoke with Nate from AEV again about this and he apologized for the misinformation that he and his coworker had provided. Apparently, the only JK wheel that was updated to the JL spec (lug pockets, center cap) was the Pintler wheel and this was done in the last two years. Thankfully, my AEV tire carrier fits with the JK spec wheels but I wanted to update this once hearing back as to not spread misinformation. Thanks!

Looking at the JL Borah wheels with the +25 offset with 315/70 R17 tires (likely BFG KO2) on stock Rubicon - any issues with rubbing, or anying else I need to know about? Did read the thread but most seem to be lifted. TIA.

I ran the exact same set up when I first got the Borah's; 315/70 KO2's and JL spec Borah's on stock height
No issues at all. They have a pretty conservative offset at 25mm but even then there aren't any issues with rubbing. Here you can see the amount of poke you will get with them

Any idea if the bolts in the standard non-protection ring are structural? They shear off pretty easily.
Non protection ring meaning just the wheel face? If you're referring to the nylon bolts that come on the wheels without trim rings, they are just there to keep the threads from getting gummed up. Not sure if that's whats you're referring to?

I ran my Borah's and 35" KM3s stock for a little while before I put the AEV lift on and had zero issues with fitment. I wouldn't recommend wheeling it like that, but street driving was entirely fine.

Thanks; can you elaborate on the ‘wheeling’ comment?

They're just nylon? I hadn't really looked at them that closely.

Structural as in holding the wheels together? The bolts for the rash ring (not the beadlock) are purely to hold the ring on to the wheel. I've not bent or broken a bolt yet but have some decent rash on the rings from rocks.

Sure thing. Any bit of substantial articulation would likely put the tire right into the fender. Here's a pic of mine on stock Rubicon suspension and 35s. Not much up travel. On the road it was entirely fine, no rubbing issues whatsoever.

They are just nylon bolts. The protection and beadlock rings come with actual hardware where as the base wheel (no rings) comes with the nylon bolts to keep the threads clean. I had them on before I upgraded to the protection rings.

Thank you for explaining, I appreciate it. I would guess it would take a fair amount of upward movement for it to hit the fender.

Just the wheel without the extra protective ring.
