Adjustable track bar for JLU yet?

I installed the Mopar kit which came with the replacement front lower control arms. So I should save my money and not put new track bars on?

Track bars will center your axle but I don't think they will do anything for your steering issue.

We have changed the bend profile on the front track bar since the original design, When we first came out with the track bar, there weren't any aftermarket diff covers to go off of so we went off the measurements of the stock diff cover plus some to account for the size we anticipated for diff covers. Give us a call at the shop and we will take care of you.

Works great and thank you guys for offering to fix this for me. I just assumed I would have to find something else.

Installed the jl mopar 2 inch lift.
The front axle is off 3/4 and the rear an 1inch.
Going to get a front and rear adjustable track bar. Getting a floating feeling at higher speeds.
Hope this helps.

I still have bump steer / wobble with bad roads even with the track bars. Ordered a set of adjustable lower LCAs to extend the caster out further after talking with a few other users and metalcloak.

For the people experiencing flighty steering after lifting, track bars aren't the way to correct it.

It is most likely a caster issue. Add a set of @RanchoShocks geo brackets. They not only correct caster, but level the arms to improve ride quality. They work much better than adjustable arms imo.

A bit. If your jeep is a dedicated rock crawler, lower arms may be better if you are worried about hitting them on the rocks.

If it isn't a dedicated rock crawler, the on road improvement is worth it. I have had lifts with adjustable arms and kits with the brackets. The brackets result in a much better ride quality due to leveling the arms in addition to correcting caster.

I was always a proponent of adjustable arms until I tried the brackets.

I think you just misspoke here because the second part of your post is correct. I have never seen a track bar cure a steering issue unless it was loose or the bushing were worn. Track bars adjust thrust angle and really don't effect the way the steering "feels".

Oops phone changed aren't to are. Track bars will not help the issue.

Lower arms will be a big help for sure. Squaring the axles with track bars or track bar brackets would help if you noticed your Jeep dog tracks down the road.

1. If the bushings in the track bar were worn could it cause excessive play in the steering wheel (1 to 3 inches of play in the steering wheel before the tires turn)?

2. Is there any other malfunction in the track bar that could cause excessive play in the steering wheel? Like 1" or more of deflection in the track bar. Assuming the bolts are tight.

I remain interested in what's available for our lifted JLs. Seems like ever since I installed the Mopar 2 inch lift my steering has been flighty, constantly having to make adjustments as I'm driving to continue tracking straight. I don't remember my steering being this awful on my lifted JKs. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm open to suggestions and hoping new track bars might fix the problem.

I have been having the same issues but it doesn't sound like mine is nearly as bad. I have been told it could be the cam bolts and I have also been told to look into the lower control arm geometry correction brackets, but I do think it has a lot to do with my track bar as well.
