I don't understand why Jeep until 2024 has never offered electric adjustable seats. It's not like 99.9% of us forge water that gets into the interior. Even if we did why do they offer electric heated seats?

Makes no sense to me, what say you?

Makes perfect sense, since Stellantis views and prices the Jeep brand (Wrangler included) as luxury vehicles. As such, the demand for power seats has increased and Stellantis complied with the need.

Careful, you’re unintentionally wading into the sticky subject of tech in Jeeps. It essentially will come down to two camps, one who accepts that creature comforts are nice and the other that will vehemently argue that anything more than an AM radio is too much tech for the Jeep. Ohh and they will throw in the 4-door isn’t a real Jeep!

Oh sure bash and old guy when you sit in the cockpit and push a button to lock in 4WD, instead of going out and locking in the front hubs manually!

I say if you push a button for this and that, give us old guys total luxury!

Come on, we all know that the only "real" Jeeps are those built before they bowed down to those luxury-demanding idiots and added that newfangled fancy AM radio!

Whoa. Your core Wrangler owner is still in therapy over the fact that most new Wranglers come with electric door locks and power windows these days.

Power seats? That is a step too far. 🤣
I resemble that remark!

2006 manual to 2024 4xe was like going from a go cart to a spaceship.

I use to lay awake at night dreeeaaming of having an AM radio in my jeep. Had to always park on a hill so I could start my it. The parking brake was a big rock. The seats were made of cactus.

Hmmph, fancy smancy AM radio snob. 😒

Well, I installed my own radio, heck, it even had a cassette, uhhh, maybe 8 track…….

@Bulletbill must be a punk kid, 4 doors aren’t real Jeeps ? Hell, real Jeeps didn’t have doors period. Spoiled kids these days, jeeeez, how long would they last using a Willys CJ for DD ? 😏

Given the choice I would pay not to have electric seats. Once the seat is adjusted I never move it. They are heavy. There is little room under them to install stuff (the biggest factor for me). Sooner or later they will break. But the 24 came with them...
I'm not at all a luddite, since I like the larger dash, and have one of those new fangled turbo-charger things.

I know, right? Stick around here long enough and people will have you believe 2018 was the first time a turbo was ever used on an engine. /s

Most of the "dudes" on this forum consider that brake lights are forced upon them from the "nanny state".👈

Not a fan of electric seats. I need to readjust every time I get in after the wife drives, and power seats are just too damn slow.

Didn't you get the memo? Tesla EV's are the new hotness. Electric seats? PFFT. Electric cars!
