Regarding control arms when going a bit taller on the XR package or any Jeep, just doing rear lowers is not a good idea, I found this out when I did this after bending a rear arm on my JK, it created an even worse pinion angle and driveshaft issues, so I had to had rear uppers to correct this problem.
Up front geometry brackets are a cost effective way to get a proper driving feeling and pinion angle correction, likely not as perfect as properly adjusted arms.
As for the driveshafts needing replacement this is also related to extended shock length, I forget the exact number up front but is it in the 29in range.
When I had my Rubicont XR I added the Mopar lift front sway bar links as I didn't like the look of the sway bar angle when electronically disconnected.
I got back into a Mojave and am now back in a JLU, but a Willy's XR this time, I run a 1 inch spacer up front and Falcon 2.1 shocks for 2-3.5 inches of lift, the rear links are fine. I need a front solution and hope to go with the Antirock setup.
Next change will be the Mopar front lower arms, they make a positive difference with the 1 inch spacer in my experience.

I'm glad you mentioned the front lower control arms. I have them on my XR and yes, they did make a positive difference.

My question is, should I keep them on when I do the AEV lift with the Correction Brackets or will that be counter productive to pinion angle and not the positive difference I experienced with just the XR lift.

I'm goint to have to contact AEV on this I think. I still have the stock lower control arms in my shed so swapping back is no biggie.

I have installed 3 of the AEV 2.5" on XR's (2023, 2024 and 2025) 2 were with 3.6 and one with 2.0 all standard springs. owners love how they drive and handle. I go to Moab with one often and it does great..I also wheel with @panhead6 in Moab and he has the same

I wanted to ask, did you flip the upper control arms in the front as suggested by AEM?

If so, assuming you recommend it, I'm guessing that you switch sides and rotate 180* so they line right up?

I did not. On the ones i have done there plenty of clearance even at max articulation.

Just do the geo brackets.

I am not able provide any certain information on using both the Mopar arms and geo brackets as I have never tried this.

Epic Adventure Oufitters often use the bracket on 3.5+ lifts paired with control arms.

Im sure someone will chime in with more info on this for you!

Just had the AEV Dual Sport XP 2.5” lift installed on my 2024 392. Actual increase in lift was about 2.25”. You only need to swap the front upper arms if you have a 392. Front shaft has a balancer ring that the arms can hit if not swapped. Very happy so far. But I need to get some 37’s now.

Got the 37’s installed. Drives great. smooth and stable. The lift was broken in with some miles and the gain from the kit had dropped to about 2”. Before the 37’s.

Why do you need to swap the front upper arms? Did you use the drop brackets?

With the lift and when the front articulates, the upper arms, in their stock positions, the left one will contact the balance ring that is on the front joint has at the diff. The instructions from AEV, have you swap them and rotate to gain the necessary clearance from the arm hitting the balance ring. Yes, I have the drop brackets. You only have to swap the upper arms on the 392’s. You can see the balance ring in the photo. I’m not an expert but AEV is, and they require it on the 392’s.

It looks awesome.. Congrats. I'm assuming that you used the standard lift and not the heavy duty spring lift, correct?

I have the 2.0T so I'm a bit lighter than you. Not sure that will matter. Some were posting that they went from 41" at the XR lip to 43". Mine right now is at 41" so if I gain 2" of body clearance and only take up an additional 1" of it with taller tires, than I net an additional 1" of body clearance over my 37s. Guy math.

installed this on my my buddy's 23 xr with 2.0 we wheel together often. I can't remember what we measured but pretty sure it was 44" at the fender lip. same as with the 3.6 I installed on my buddy's 2025 with 37's, the green one.. all end up being the same height as a non XR

Did you have to add any spacers for a heavier bumper and/or winch to the AEV kit? I can't remember if I asked this already, sorry.

I have a 1" spacer on my factory springs for my winch and bumper. Just wanted to know if I should transfer it immediately to save myself the extra labor of doing it later.
