Is the factory xTreme lift 1.5" longer springs and adjusted shocks? If so, then I would think a 2.5" lift would only net 1", but it sounds like you netted much more than that. I also have a JLURxR and looking at a lift, but need to watch the finish height due to a low garage door. @JLURxR_Diablito

Here are pics of measurements. 43 1/2 front 43 1/2 rear. Thats left front and rear. 77 1/2 to top. Thats with 35's. 37's will add maybe a inch to overall.
My local shop is telling me I will net only 1" with a MC 2.5" lift since the xTreme Recon is already 1.5" above standard Rubicon. They said the 2.5" is from stock Rubicon height and recommend the 3.5" lift.. But it looks like you got the full 2.5". Is that what you are seeing?

I put a 2.5” Clayton lift on mine and got the full 2.5”.

I got 2.5 on top of the 1.5. 3000 miles and still 2.5 over the XR 1.5. Did not loose any with settling. I am not light weight either. So for those keeping score thats 4” on a ruby if my math is right. Measured many times at different locations. There are a few others out there that got this much From the 2.5 lift. It rides great though. Just higher than i expected.

I could be wrong (more than likely) I thought the 1.5" on the XR was a suspension lift IE Springs which get taken off to install the MC Springs.

As for my XR, I saw similar to Firedude. I have the MC 2.5 and it sits 78" (KM3 37's) and 79" with 38's.

Correct. Stock Rubicon is 1 inch higher than sport, XR would be 1.5 over Rubicon or 2.5 higher than sport. MC 2.5, 4” higher over Rubicon. Could be 5” higher on a sport. These numbers vary jeep to jeep and lift to lift.

I know this is an old thread, but the question still applies.

I was thinking of replacing my XR springs with Rock Krawler 2.5” springs. I already have the Mopar 2” lower control arms and a Synergy adjustable track arm on the front. So I was thinking that besides long enough shocks, that I might need longer lower control arms on the rear and either a track bar or a track bar lowering bracket on the rear. All of this still being cheaper than a full lift kit full of things that I don’t need.

I would really like your thought on this. Thanks.

Thanks Twisted.
Those look like 37s, are they?
Any rubbing at articulation?
You went with the 3” high capacity?
How is the ride?
Is this the kit that you have?

thanks for the info!

What about longer sway bar end links? are the rear arms and track bar necessary? I was thinking of doing something similar.
