I plan on eventually installing Rigid's Pro-DOT amber fog lights on my a-pillar cowls. I'm just saving up for them as they are pricey. Until then I had a couple of very inexpensive amber lights to just try things out. I didn't want them on the hood as I want to be able to lower my windshield on occasion. I also didn't want any hood glare. I chose the Carr 180° mount. It gets very foggy and it can REALLY snow where we live, so I want to be able to see as I run around the winding roads of the Driftless Area.

I like that 180 mount! I had KC Hi-Lites mounted on the A pillar, but they do give glare. I was wondering if anyone had used the Go Rhino hood latch light mounts? The only reason I'm hesitant about those is because the instructions say to drill a hole in the hood for the wiring harness.
C'mon! I haven't even had the Jeep for a year yet!

Has anyone tried the Go Rhino mounts and NOT drilled? Can the wire be safely routed without drilling?

anyway you can show the wiring you did for this. Looks great
Not sure if you can see it here but I looked the rigid harnesses and zip tied to the rear of the engine bay where the mopar aux switch fuses are. I founded to one of the bolts in the passenger side of the engine bay and connected to aux 2 and 4 (those are the 15amp fuses in the aux switch kit - I don’t have the tow package from the factory). The connections from the lights to the harness are under the cowl.

Rigid cowl mounts with d-series spots on top and dss floods on bottom
Would the mounts only work with Rigid branded cubes or could you use an equally sized Oracle set? I believe the kit comes with a short stack mount so for the top set, did you have to use a long stack mount or did you just use another short stack? Sorry for the stupid questions (rookie here). I have the factory tow package so I’d like to wire them all to one of the aux switches. At this point, just trying to save some money.

I used the short that came with it and bought the long set. I would think it’d work with any light that has a single hole type mount that can rotate to the back of the light
