It appears to be a one day, cheap, makeover. The only thing missing is the angry grillhttps://www.seattlejeep.com/auto/ne...edium=referral&utm_campaign=cars.com_deeplink
The seats and cargo rack are kinda cool. Other than that, not really seeing the value here versus buying a 392.

The red Tow Hooks added $20,000 to the price...Wait, red hooks?
I'm going to color mine!![]()
Well- one of the Sports the local had displayed on their mound had a “Rubicon wheel and tire package” …. gee, I wonder where that came from ? it’s not an official option. The red Tow Hooks added $20,000 to the price...

The Window Sticker for that VIN is $51,245. They added $20,000+ on to the Jeep...![]()
That’s worse then this $70k sport s
Joe, I tend to agree with you.All they’re selling is the look. That’s all that matters for most people.
False. My uncle sold cars for many years. Used to say “There is an ass for every seat”
…and make it even more capable off-road.The red Tow Hooks added $20,000 to the price...
right. But just the rear. Same front. AndIt is not even the Rubicon with its transfer case and the new fancy axles. Now you know why I don't go to them for service.
The new Willys must be hurting the sale of Rubicons, Jeep must be regretting it. The suspension is the same too and the fenders and the ground clearance and the tires and wheelsright. But just the rear. Same front. And
The Willy’s does have the same rubicon axles 18-23 rubicons. A few other threads also set they are thicker tubes, too!
I have purchased new rubicons for over a decade every 2-3 years. This time the choice was easy. Willy’s. I added a front Eaton locker. And a swayloc. I’m still 7k under the cost of a rubicon. And equally capable. I don’t need the sticker to wheel.
eventually I’ll swap out the transfer case but to be honest, I’ve taken it on a few Moab trails already and zero issue. It was nice to not have to go back and forth between 4l and 4h. The 2.72:1 is convenient.

a few weeks ago it walked through golden spike, poison spider, and gold bar rim. No difference from the prior rubicons I’ve driven.
